    User Roles

Teamo has three user roles: Admin, Standard, and Guest. Each role is designed for a different type of user, and your role determines your baseline permissions across the entire organization.

    Admin

Admins have full control over the workspace. In addition to everything a Standard user can do, Admins can:

    • Change a module's structure, including creating, editing, and deleting columns
    • Manage sharing and access for units, modules, and views
    • Create and edit views
    • Create and manage automations
    • Create and manage reports
    • Manage integrations
    • Create and manage portals
    • Manage the organization, including members and billing

    Standard

Standard users have full access to day-to-day work, but cannot change the workspace structure or administrative settings. Standard users can:

    • Create, edit, and delete records and activities, including bulk operations
    • Access multiple units, modules, and views (subject to their permissions)
    • Trigger existing automations
    • Use global search
    • View reports and portals
    • Use Amo
    • Export data
    • View the organization's member list

Standard users cannot change a module's structure, create automations, manage sharing, create views, or manage users, billing, or integrations. These actions require the Admin role.

    Guest

Guests are intended for people outside your organization who need limited access to a specific area of the workspace.

Guests are invited by email just like any other user, but are assigned to a single module when invited. They can:

    • Create and edit records within their assigned module
    • Bulk create and edit records within that module

Guests cannot delete records, bulk delete or archive records, use global search, view portals, use Amo, or see other members of the organization.

Because their access is intentionally limited, Guests also see a simplified navigation experience that only includes their assigned module and view.

Your role is a starting point, not a guarantee

Your role determines what you're allowed to do, but it doesn't automatically determine what you can access.

For example, having the Standard role allows you to work across multiple modules, but you can only access units, modules, and views that have been shared with you. If a Standard user reports they can't access something, the issue is usually the sharing settings rather than their role.

    Guest seats and billing

Guests do not count as paid seats. Instead, the number of Guests you can invite depends on your plan and scales with the number of paid seats.
