Teamo has no automatic conflict engine. Your team searches existing clients and parties in Teamo, and the conflict check is a step on the inquiry that a person completes and ticks, with the history showing who did it and when.
Can clients see their matter online?
Yes. Each client gets a private page with the steps, documents and drafts you choose to share. They can upload documents, and set a draft's status to Approved or Changes requested. A client can be a company, a person or a family, and they don't need a Teamo account.
Can Teamo record time and handle billing?
Lawyers record time with one click on any matter or task, against fixed, capped or hourly fees, and timesheets export to Excel and PDF. Bills are tracked in Teamo with their amount and status; they are raised in your accounts software, which connects to Teamo through its API.
How does Teamo keep client data confidential?
Views can be restricted to the people on a matter, fields such as fees can be hidden by role, and every change is recorded. Teamo is hosted in the EU, in AWS Frankfurt, with encryption in transit and at rest and multi-factor sign-in.
