    Getting Started with Amo

Amo is Teamo's built-in AI assistant. Unlike a typical chatbot, Amo doesn't just answer questions about your workspace. It can also help you take action, from creating records to drafting an entire dashboard.

    Who can use Amo

Amo is available to Admin and Standard users. Guests do not have access to Amo.

    Opening Amo

Click Ask Amo in the left sidebar to open the chat panel.

Amo is context-aware, meaning it understands which unit, module, or record you're currently viewing. This allows you to ask questions naturally without having to explain where you are in your workspace.

What you can ask Amo to do

    Ask questions about your data

Amo can search, analyze, and summarize information across your records and activities.

    For example, you can ask:

    • "How many deals are stuck in the Proposal stage?"
    • "Show me all overdue invoices."
    • "Is there enough inventory available today to fulfill all scheduled orders?"

    Create and update items

Amo can create or edit records, columns, activity groups, activities, and activity details on your behalf.

It can also bulk import data from spreadsheets, including CSV and XLSX files.

    Draft dashboards and automations

Describe what you'd like to build, and Amo can generate a draft dashboard or automation for you to review before it's created.

    Use voice input

Hold to talk or tap to dictate your message instead of typing.

Voice input availability depends on your browser.

    Attach files

Drag and drop a file, or use the attach button, to give Amo something to work from—for example, a spreadsheet you'd like to import.

    How Amo keeps changes safe

Amo doesn't make risky changes silently.

Bulk actions and destructive actions always require your confirmation before they run.

Most actions can be undone afterward from the action checklist in the chat panel.

Some actions, such as deleting a column, cannot be undone. Amo will always warn you before performing one of these actions.

    Amo credits

    Using Amo consumes credits.

You can see your current balance in the chat panel, and you'll receive a warning when your balance is running low.

If your organization uses pooled team credits, everyone shares the same credit balance. Otherwise, credits are tracked per seat.

When you run low, you can purchase additional credits from your billing settings.

To ensure fair usage, Amo also has an hourly message limit. If you reach the limit, simply wait a while before continuing.

    Current limitations

    • Guests cannot use Amo.
    • Some destructive actions, such as deleting a column, cannot be undone once confirmed.
    • Amo can complete a limited number of steps in a single request. For more complex tasks, you may need to break your request into smaller steps.
